Vacation FUNds

Fuel Your Wanderlust

Fuel Your Wanderlust with the Power of a Vacation Fund

Are you tired of letting financial constraints hold you back from the adventures you crave? It's time to take control of your travel dreams and unleash the full potential of your wanderlust. The solution? Set up a vacation fund savings account – and set it up on your own in 5 minutes flat.

Every dollar you save brings you one step closer to your dream destinations. With a vacation fund in place, that world becomes your reality. Here's why:
Freedom to Explore
With a dedicated vacation fund, you have the power to design the adventures of your dreams, from exotic getaways to spontaneous escapades.
Financial Discipline

By allocating a portion of your income specifically for travel, you prioritize saving over unnecessary expenses. This disciplined approach not only ensures steady progress towards your travel goals but also cultivates a habit of prudent financial management that extends beyond vacation planning.

Ignite Your Soul

Travel isn't just about ticking off bucket list destinations—it's about feeding your soul with unforgettable experiences. With a well-funded vacation fund, you can immerse yourself in new cultures, savor local cuisines, and create memories that last a lifetime.

Empowerment
Take charge of your financial future and prioritize what truly matters to you. By setting up a vacation fund savings account, you're investing in your happiness and well-being, one adventure at a time.
Long-Term Planning and Aspirations
While immediate travel plans may be your primary focus, a vacation fund savings account also sparks other long-term aspirations. Whether you dream of embarking on a round-the-world adventure, retiring in a tropical paradise, or starting your own business, consistently saving towards your goals paves the way for realizing these dreams, transforming them from distant fantasies into tangible possibilities.

Set up your Vacation FUNd in our App!

It's easy-peasy, island breezy!

Calculating how much you need to save is a simple calculation:
(Cost of trip)/(# of Pay Periods until Planned Travel Date)=(How much to save)

For example, let's say you'd like to save $5,000 for a beach trip in 2 years:
  • Simply divide $5000 by 52 (# of pay periods in 2 years)
  • So, you'd need to save $96.15 every two weeks
Sign-in to your app and:
  • Click on Accounts on the menu at the bottom of the screen
  • Scroll to Savings
  • Select (+) New Account and follow the prompts
Be sure to rename your account to Vacation FUNd so you know not to spend it!
Still in the app:
  • Select Move Money from the menu at the bottom of your screen
  • Choose Transfer Funds and follow the prompts
    • Transfer type: "Recurring"
    • Amount: use the amount calculated in step 1
    • Start Date: your next pay day
    • Frequency: the frequency of your payroll
    • End Date: your planned travel date.
Remember, after you travel, be sure to set up a new recurring transfer, unless your done travelling (...yeah, right!)
