e-Statements
Here at WCU, we want to do our part for the planet by encouraging members to switch to e-statements. They offer all the same transaction and history details as printed statements—but you access them securely through online banking. In fact, you can sign up for e-Statement when you log in to your digital banking! Plus, its super easy.
How to sign up for eStatements
> In digital banking, under the 'My Weyburn' menu, simply choose 'Statement preferences' under 'Settings'.
> Ensure the 'Paper statement' is toggled to 'Off' for each account.
It's just that easy!
Alerts
Stay in the know and in control with alerts.
> Security alerts will alert you when things happen in your account that may indicate fraud, like if your password is changed or your account is locked out.
> You can set up account alerts to let you know if certain transactions happen or not - or account conditions are met.
Our $0.02: If you only set up one alert, make it the "Successful login" alert! You will be notified of every login to your account - including your own successful logins - but more importantly if someone other than you has logged in! It is the best security feature.

How to get a draft or Manager’s Trust Cheque

How Interac eTransfers work
Sending
- Log into our online banking or mobile app and navigate to the “Transfers” screen.
- Set up your sender profile and add your recipient – make sure to create a Security Question that only your recipient knows the answer to.
- Choose how to notify your recipient, the amount you want to send and which account to transfer the money from. You can also choose to send a special message or memo to your recipient.
- Send! The funds are debited from your account immediately.
Receiving
When someone sends you an e-Transfer, you’ll be notified by email or text. All you need to do is:
- Click the link in the notification.
- Answer a security question set by the sender.
- Once you’ve answered correctly, you can deposit the funds immediately into the account you want – no holds, no hassle!

How to set up a direct deposit
Often, you can provide your employer or other provider with a VOID cheque or banking confirmation. You can download a VOID cheque in digital banking or visit our Help Centre for more information.
To set up a direct deposit through us, simply stop by your local branch or phone our Contact Centre at 306-842-6641 to receive the required forms.
